I will go where I can dream...
This series offers a mapping of the borderline states of human existence—it transports the viewer into a mysterious space on the very edge of perception, an ephemeral zone where the boundaries between objective reality and the territories of the subconscious are ultimately erased. This is not an escape from reality, but rather an immersion into its deeper essence, concealed beneath layers of digital noise and social conventions.
The subjects of the paintings are not merely characters, but rather explorers, cast adrift in a quiet, inner cosmos. They are immersed in a state of deep reflection, of meditative search, in an attempt not just to find, but to piece together their authentic place in a hyper-connected yet simultaneously fragmented world. Their silent journey is an attempt to rekindle an ontological connection with the world, one lost in an era of clicktivism and superficial contacts.
In this dimension, the dictates of the everyday finally dissolve, giving way to an unstructured flow of consciousness. This is an inner space, devoid of hierarchies and algorithms, directed not outward, but inward—toward authentic, true desires, toward those questions we suppress within ourselves for the sake of efficiency and continuous functioning within the system.
I ask myself: what is born in genuine silence, when the imposed rhythm of news feeds and notifications finally fades? What form does our "Self" take when stripped of external reference points? And how can this "Self"—fragile, intimate, unoptimized—resonate with a reality that demands constant adaptation, digitalization, and self-editing?
"I will go where one can dream…"—is not a nostalgia for the unattainable, but an attempt to locate the assembly point of the future human. One who, existing in the heart of the technological storm, finds an inner core not in the infinite scroll, but in the silent depth of their own "Self." It is an attempt to defend the right to inner silence as a form of supreme freedom and an act of resistance against total external stimulation.
